Chile Mojo Hot Sauce XXX Hot 148ml

Heat level : 12
Size

You want hot? with flavour? We are always asked for something really hot, but with flavour. This question always provokes a groan (at least internally) because well, they all have flavour. However, Chile Mojo's Habanero XXX sauce is a good answer as it certainly packs a respectable heat with well balanced flavour. While not a noticably fruity sauce, the pineapple and peaches help round out and balance the flavour profile.

And I dare you, next time you're standing in front of Chile Mojo's 'Wall of Flame' pondering a sauce - ask Joel "What's a good sauce that has flavour?".

INGREDIENTS: Diced Tomatoes (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Salt, Calcium Chloride and Citric Acid), Red Habanero Pepper, Brown Sugar, Pineapple, Peaches, Molasses, Honey, Red Wine Vinegar, Jalapeno Peppers, Premium High Grade Certified Oleoresin Capsicum, Onion, Garlic, Crushed Red Pepper, Water.

I Suspect This Might be Chilli Mojo's Answer to "Da Bomb"

Let me be candid...

I like hot sauces. I buy a lot of hot sauces. I have bought heaps of sauce from Chilli Mojo, and will continue to do so (they are great). While not the toughest Hombre on the block, I hold my own when people ask, do you like hot sauce.

For all that, this sauce is sh!te, not good in any way. A nasty little number that comes on with all the appeal of a handful of hot gravel and a taste to match. I really do like my sauces to support the meal, but this ogre of a concoction seems to think my food is industrial waste.

Not good, not good at all.

Very hot but with great flavour

I got a bottle of this sauce years ago and to this day it's by far my favourite of all of the very spicy sauces which tend to not taste very good on their own. This one even stands up to the more flavour focused, less hot sauces available that I've tried.

Ole, ole, ole, ole

Feelin' hot hot hot! This may be becoming a mainstay of macho chili-eating contests, too potent for me despite Joel's aforementioned accolades. It might add a rainbow of taste to Tex-Mex chili con carne, but don't go splashing it over a burrito.

Hot, thick and tasty

Purchased the mojo pack and this one was by far my favourite. Had plenty of burn and was much thicker than the standard habanero or jalapeno counterparts which made it great for spreading over meat or in sandwiches. Recommended for those that like a everyday sauce a bit hotter.
