This sauce is basis for many Mexican dishes, especially pozole, enchiladas and red chile stew.
If you're looking for enchilada sauce, it IS the same. In New Mexico it is called Red Chile Sauce or New Mexico Red Sauce. Elsewhere it's referred to as Enchilada Sauce.
Ingredients: Water, Dried Red Chile Peppers, Salt, Cottonseed Oil, Cider Vinegar, Fumaric Acid, Garlic Powder, Spice, Olive Oil.
