Seeds - Chile Yellow 7 Pot - overstock special

The Yellow 7 Pot (aka 7 pod) earned its name because its thought that just one pod carries enough heat to serve 7 pots of stew.

From Trinidad in the Caribbean, this is one hot chile measuring somewhere between 800,000 to 1 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU).   While the plant will do well in a pot, if in a good protected location can also grow to be quite large and prolific.  The plant is beautiful with large green leaves and big golden bumpy-skinned pods.

One of the tastiest super-hots - sweeter and fruitier and perfect for making sauces.  Also great dried and used in seasoning blends.
