Hot Tamales are a chewy, cinnamon flavored, oblong-shaped candy introduced first produced in 1950. It's name is derived from the sometimes pungent (spicy hot) flavor of tamales, Hot Tamales was the top selling cinnamon candy in the USA, as of 1999.
