As seen on The Hot Ones - Season 26
Claire Georges started Butterfly Bakery as, well, a bakery. But this was before a surplus of local Vermont jalapenos catapulted her into the spice life. Hot House Sauce brings Claire’s produce-first ethos to life with a unique blend of serrano, habanero, Carolina Reaper, ghost, and carmen peppers. Herbs and spices take this hot house pickle-y sauce to the next level. It’s dilly, deadly spicy and delicious on sandwiches, barbecued meats, grilled cheese and more.
Hot House Sauce is well balanced and really does taste fresh from the garden. It has a unique and interesting flavor but be warned, if you don't care for dill this will not be your sauce. The dill does make it pair particularly well with fish n chips, on burgers and also mac n' cheese.
Ingredients: Chili peppers (serranos, habaneros, reapers, ghosts, carmens), distilled vinegar, tomatoes, water, cilantro, salt, olive oil, lemon juice concentrate, dill, black pepper.
