This sauce is quite fruity. The raspberry shines first but is closely followed by mild heat and smoke from the chipotle. A very well balanced sauce. When the fruit flavor comes in first you almost expect the sauce to be sweet for a second, but it is not. This is very good for eggs, fish, poultry or cheese dishes.
