Not your average habanero sauce. The General makes his sauce with nearly 90% habanero peppers, just a splash of vinegar, not much salt and a little garlic to round things out.
This sauce is not for the faint of heart. The Louisiana-grown fruity orange habaneros bring a punch of deep, powerful, sustained heat that is offset by a citrusy aroma and taste. So as to not distract from that sweet-heat combination, there is a touch less salt so that the true flavor of the habanero pepper really pops in the sauce.
Try this for the sauce alone, but with the added bonus of a super cool hand grenade bottle, complete with its own dog-tag.
