Rare heirloom corn producing huge 25cm long cobs with large deep white kernels.
Can be harvested young and eaten roasted has a slightly sweet flavour. If left to maturity it can be used for use as stock feed or ground into corn meal. Kernels are incredibly large at around 15mm each and are borne on very tall plants. This variety does well in poor soil conditions.
There is still some genetic variation in the gene pool and you may get the occasional red cob producing plant.
Its recommended to only grow one variety of corn at a time or they will cross pollinate and affect the appearance and taste of the cobs.
100 days to maturity.
