Achiote (annatto), is an ancient seed used in Mexican cuisine since time immemorial.

This sauce pairs with white meats (chicken and pork), fish, prawns.  Enlivens rice, pasta and bean dishes to go beyond the ordinary.

Instructions: season and saute ingredients.  Add contents of jar and simmer for 15 minutes.

Ingredients: orange juice, apple cider vinegar, annatto seed, olive oil, sea salt, garlic, oregano, bay leaves, black pepper and allspice.
